EBP Brasil assists its clients to evaluate the elevations reached by floods of water bodies to determine the possibility of overflow, identifying:

• The maximum flood flows, for recurrence periods, e.g. 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50 years.
• Measurement of water flow from water bodies and climatological data;
• Determination of the water level quotas corresponding to the flows of the water body.
• Hydrologic modeling and crossing of water results with topography.

 Each of these steps is carefully studied so that the modeling results can better
express potential future scenarios. Besides document analysis and topographic studies, EBP Brasil uses softwares such as HEC-RAS, developed by Hydrologic Engineering Center, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and others that allow modeling.
