For Arbon Energie AG, we completed the planning, tendering and realization of a redundant drinking water pumping station to ensure an emergency water supply for Arbon. The newly installed pump in the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Frasnacht has a capacity of up to 18,000 m3/d and is operated with a variable-frequency drive, enabling a flexible adaptation to various operating conditions. The increase in capacity also entailed replacing the existing air-contacted pressure shock absorber with a new membrane pressure shock absorber.
