Thun is looking to maintain and improve the quality of life in the city in the face of the growing impact of climate change. We are supporting the city by drawing up climate adaptation guidelines for public spaces to establish a citywide basis on which to plan and implement infrastructure projects in line with the concept of a sponge city. The primary focus is on heat reduction and handling heavy rainfall.
