Football has become a significant economic factor in Switzerland. We worked together with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts to examine the economic significance of the Swiss Super League and the Swiss Challenge League at the national and cantonal levels for the 2024/25 season. This provided us with valuable insights into the respective value creation of the leagues and clubs. Our findings can be used to communicate effectively and to assert their interests.
