Dissatisfied with a rather disjointed approach to publicly-accessible charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Swiss district of Goms, the GOMS Energy Region Association decided to develop a regional master plan for its charging infrastructure. With our extensive experience with similar projects, we developed electric mobility forecasts tailored to their needs, interpreted them and discussed them together.
Our services
- Discussing analysis results for existing, publicly accessible charging stations, including a comparison with other regions (benchmark)
- Forecasting future charging demand and the charging infrastructure optimally aligned with it
- Making a gap analysis comparing the current charging network to an ideal infrastructure in 2035, from which expansion recommendations were derived
- Providing support in selecting charging station locations
- Presenting recommendations for the coordinated development of a regional charging infrastructure
