We developed a municipal energy plan for the Swiss city of Olten that complies with the requirements of the Canton of Solothurn. As a basis for this, we documented the current heating supply system and identified the potential for renewable energy. With the involvement of the municipal energy supplier and other stakeholders, we defined municipal goals and measures for a future-oriented heating supply. The energy plan provides the city with a basis for promoting the thermal network expansion and clarifying the future role of gas supply.
