Together with Leuthard Baumanagement AG and the Atelier WW architectural firm, we won an architectural design competition for a new seven-story replacement building at Badenerstrasse 662-668 in Zurich. While the challenges we faced were daunting – including unique floor plans, a supporting structure with especially thin ceilings and severe space constraints – we succeeded in planning in an optimized and resource-saving manner. Thanks to our use of BIM, the solid construction is created using a 3D model (BIM-to-field) and is certified in accordance with the Swiss sustainability standard SNBS.
