We worked with Empa to conduct a study aimed at calculating how much energy and CO₂ emissions could be saved in the Swiss vehicle fleet by simply changing behavior. Key data from the areas of maintenance, vehicle equipment and driving behavior in the years 2023 and 2030 flowed into the extrapolation. The savings potential remains high even with a wider diffusion of electric vehicles and driver assistance systems. The study serves as a basis for deciding on the continuation of the EcoDrive program.
