The canton of Zurich’s geoportal is a popular, go-to resource for both authorities and private individuals. While updating it on a technical and visual level, we faced the challenge of seamlessly integrating the existing elements into the new geoportal. We achieved this by quickly developing and optimizing a prototype. The modern, user-friendly GIS browser 3.0 now provides around 200 maps with a wide range of geoinformation and all metadata for the canton of Zurich.
