Effretikon Train Station has various shortcoming and does not meet all of the requirements of the Swiss Disabilities Act. By removing the existing track 4, a good solution that meets all the requirements has been found, with a new pedestrian underpass and the widening of the two central platforms. The structural measures require extensive adjustments to the entire station: tracks, platforms, all entrances and the bicycle crossing must be redesigned.

• Elaborating all civil engineering and engineering structures including route construction, underground cable construction and drainage together with the necessary auxiliary construction measures
• Coordinating with the relevant departments of Swiss Federal Railways (SBB)
• Providing support for developing the track project plan
• Designing the new platform facilities for tracks 1 to 5, including the respective platform accessways
• Planning the new central pedestrian underpass with a width of eights meters
• Drafting the construction plan for the new pedestrian underpass and the Rosenweg bicycle crossing
