EBP developed the conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for the District Heating project in the Agricultural School Sector of Coyhaique, involving various public institutions as beneficiaries of the project.

Coyhaique is the city that faces the most severe air pollution problems in the country, primarily due to the improper use of firewood for heating. Considering that district heating can reduce particulate matter emissions by up to 99% for heat generation, this technology has been considered a solution for the regional capital of Aysén. Thus, it was one of the projects included in the action plan of the Local Energy Strategy (EEL) of the municipality.
