We determined for BirdLife where Switzerland stands on the path to achieving the goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. According to our analysis, there is a considerable need for action in Switzerland with regard to various targets. Our study shows how these targets can be achieved.

Analyze where Switzerland stands with respect to the targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and their achievement, based on the national biodiversity and sustainability indicators, current legislation and literature; and what is still needed for Switzerland to achieve the targets
Identify directions and strategies on how to achieve these targets
Identify measures that are already being implemented and propose measures that could still be taken, based on existing literature and discussions with experts
