Meteorological measurement data from the ground monitoring network is recorded in Germany at weather-representative locations from Helgoland to the Zugspitze. We designed the weather stations for the measurement sensors, developed the software, manufactured and supplied the systems. We have been looking after the measuring network, which has been operating successfully for years. Do you also need to integrate measurement data from a distributed measurement network?

The following is a selection of services we have already provided:

• For the German Weather Service, we completely redesigned the hardware and software for the weather stations of the full-time ground monitoring network and manufactured around 200 stations. The stations are operated with a Linux kernel and PostgreSQL database. With the exception of hardware drivers, all software is developed in Java and is now maintained by the customer.
• Since 2015, the part-time ground monitoring network consisting of almost 1,000 stations has been replaced by MODES III stations, which were largely developed by us. Thanks to their design using tried-and-tested industrial automation technology components, the MODES III stations offer robust technology with a high level of reliability.
• With the information logistics measuring networks developed by us, the highly dynamic mass data of the ground measuring network with well over 100 different measuring parameters is managed in a highly available system. In addition to the fully automatic processing of meteorological measurement data, the manual management of the full-time and part-time monitoring network with all associated stations, their administrative and metrological properties, their individual configuration settings and the parameters they measure is one of the main functions of the graphical user interface.
