Traffic management involves the collection and processing of a large amount of traffic and environmental data. Intelligent traffic data management, distributed systems and a service-oriented architecture are the cornerstones on which today's traffic management systems are built. With our many years of expertise in data management, we are happy to support you in your projects.
While relatively short periods of time tend to be considered in traffic system control, further requirements arise for the creation of evaluations for traffic planners and traffic engineers, which lead to intelligent data management.
The essential basis is that information on data quality is already collected when the raw data is recorded and in the subsequent processing stages. These are determined using special test procedures. The result is a multi-stage quality management system that is established as a cross-sectional task.
In subsequent evaluations over longer periods of time or longer distances and areas, data of poor quality can be specifically excluded in order to improve the quality of the information and draw the right conclusions. This also applies to the master data used.
