EBP is developing new bearing data analysis software, known as PAUSS-H, for the Federal Institute of Hydrology and the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration.

Text

Water level measurements are carried out regularly on federal waterways to ensure navigability, for example. These measurements involve collecting a large amount of data from various sensors. Additional data is obtained for the adjacent land areas using airborne laser scanning.
The raw data from the water measurement and geotopography can be visualized, processed, and validated using PAUSS-H. This quickly results in several billion measurement points, which, in addition to their XYZ coordinates, contain information about their exact measurement conditions, accuracy, and plausibility.
The measurement and process data can be displayed, edited, and checked for plausibility in 3D, in plan view, in elevation view, or as time series. Complex analysis tools are available for this purpose. In addition, integrated batch processing enables the automation of routine processing tasks.
Digital terrain models can then be created based on the quality-assured data. With the help of a special map module, thematic maps for various areas of application can be freely compiled.
