The World Heritage town of Quedlinburg has experienced dynamic economic development in recent years. To this end, plans are underway to develop an industrial area of approximately 65 hectares near the town of Quarmbeck.
Due to the high utilization of existing commercial areas in the World Heritage town of Quedlinburg and the economic prospects, the town is preparing the development of further commercial building land. To this end, the development plan procedure for an industrial area of approx. 65 hectares near Quarmbeck is being carried out. The city's forward-looking planning aims to provide sufficient commercial building land for interested parties. The economic conditions and the subsidy programs launched to expand business-related municipal infrastructure still offer municipalities optimal opportunities to develop sustainable commercial locations. The establishment of companies will make a lasting contribution to the city's trade tax revenue and secure jobs and training places in the long term. The city also expects synergy effects from the Intel site 45 km away, where around €30 billion is to be invested in the coming years.
EBP has been commissioned to coordinate, manage, and prepare the planning and coordination process required for the development of the Quarmbeck industrial area. These project management services are necessary to ensure that building permits are obtained quickly and that the land is made available.
